Credit Cards are replacing the traditional method of payment. College students are flooded with applications to sign up for them and thoughts of purchasing anything they want and having the ability to pay it off later. No cash is needed up front and it is easy and simple to sign up for. We use them purchase everything at the gas station, restaurant, on the Internet, at the retail store, airport, and everywhere else we shop. Then at the end of month the bill comes and minimum amount is due that includes high interest rates if we do not pay it off in full. Often individuals carry large credit card balances that are difficult to get down with the current interest rates.
Individuals often have multiple credit cards that offer a variety of different rewards programs to entice users to purchase items with the card. Rewards programs include cash back, airline miles, discount purchases, free items, and contests. Credit Card companies such as Mastercard, American Express, Visa, and Discover create partnerships with retail businesses to create brand loyalty. It is a billion dollar business that transforms how we view money and what we can afford. How do you use Credit Cards?
I take credit cards from my parents to buy material objects, and expensive products because i don't have enough money. and my parents will always love me anyway!
