Digg uses?

Digg is a user driven social content website that offers the ability to post, rate, and comment on articles all across the Internet.  Articles are first submitted then users vote on the articles and the more Diggs it gets the higher it goes up in the rankings.  Articles are divided into a variety of categories using tags that include technology, science, world, sports, videos, and entertainment.  It is a free service to join and then you create your own area with your favorite articles and share them with friends. 

Digg only links to articles off their site, but users can comment on the article on Digg and carry on a discussion to create a social community effect.  Digg started in November of 2004 by Kevin Ross, Owen Byrne, Ron Gorodetzky and Jay Adelson.  It started out as an experiment and quickly has grown into a current user pool of over 500,000 users and million of visitors daily.  Articles that reach the top of Digg list often receive a swarm of hits that can slow down traffic at times to news sites.  it is currently a top 500 visited site on the Internet and is growing at a extreme rate.  It gives users the ability to create their own newspapers with their top articles from across the web.  It is quite addictive and simple to get started so try it out.  How do you use Digg?
